OUR STORY
Established as a non-profit corporation, Clinco employs over 50 area individuals, not only offering employees a means of earning a wage, but also providing them with a place to work with peers and contribute to community betterment projects.

Clinco offers a diverse array of services, including operating the largest recycling center in Region D of Missouri’s Department of Natural Resources through the 24/7 drop-off and collection of solid wastes such as cardboard, paper, aluminum, and plastic.
Clothing and shoes in good condition are even collected and reclaimed for use. Once collected, materials donated for recycling are sorted, bundled, and sold to mills that provide materials to companies that utilize recycled products in manufacturing.
Proceeds from the recycling efforts, along with subsidies from Region D grants and SB 40 monies, help fund the employment of the area’s special population.

Community Cleaning
In addition to recycling, Clinco staff maintains two Interstate rest areas 365 days a year. With supervised assistance, Clinco employees provide groundskeeping and custodial care at rest stops along I-35 at Lathrop and I-29 near Dearborn.
Closer to home, Clinco personnel pick up litter, provide custodial services to the public library, and wash windows for commercial businesses. Other projects have included building personal protection masks and packaging materials for local industries.
These and other services are available to any organization wishing to contract with Clinco.
